Isis — The Great Mother

She reassembled her murdered husband Osiris piece by piece from across the Nile. She hid her infant son Horus in the papyrus marshes to protect him from Set. She used magic no other god possessed. Isis was the most powerful deity in the Egyptian pantheon — the goddess of magic, healing, motherhood, and the full moon. Her cult spread from Egypt to Rome to the edges of the ancient world.
