Refund Policy

At AncestralCraft, every sign is produced specifically for you once your order is placed — including personalized House of [Name] signs. Because of this, we want you to understand exactly how returns, refunds, and replacements work.

Standard Heritage Signs

If your standard (non-personalized) heritage sign arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered, we will replace it or issue a full refund at no cost to you. Contact us at care@ancestralcraft.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we will resolve it promptly — no return shipping required for damaged or defective items.

If you simply change your mind about a standard sign, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Personalized House of [Name] Signs

Because House of [Name] signs are custom-made to your specifications — your family name rendered in your chosen heritage style — these items cannot be returned or refunded simply due to a change of mind. Custom orders are final sale once production has begun.

However, if a personalized sign arrives damaged, defective, or with an error on our part (such as a misspelled name that does not match what you submitted at checkout), we will remake it or refund you in full. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos clearly showing the issue.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel any order — standard or personalized — within 4 hours of placing it, before production begins, for a full refund. After this window, production may have already started and cancellation may not be possible. Contact us immediately at care@ancestralcraft.com if you need to cancel.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, and a reshipping fee may apply.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days, or your order has not arrived within the maximum estimated delivery window, contact us and we will investigate with our shipping carrier and either locate your package or send a replacement.

How to Start a Return or Report an Issue

Email care@ancestralcraft.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and (if applicable) clear photos. We aim to respond to all requests within 24–48 hours.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after we process it.
